The Education Abroad Program is a system-wide program of the University of California. It is open to undergraduates, including seniors. The Department of French and Francophone Studies actively participates in this program. Paris, Lyon, and Bordeaux are the universities in France where students can spend an academic year of study while registered at UCLA and earning credits toward their degrees. For additional information go to the UC Education Abroad website here.
The Department of French and Francophone Studies encourages majors who are going to France with EAP to take advantage of the Department-sponsored Education Abroad Program Awards. Up to three prizes ($1,000 each) will be awarded on a competitive basis. For more information, please see the Awards & Prizes page.
Financial aid is available for eligible students. For more information, contact a Financial Aid Advisor listed on the EAP website here.
